Supply Chain Analyst 

Department: Supply Chain Planning
Location: Memphis, TN

Supply Chain Analyst

The Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for optimizing and improving the efficiency of the supply chain operations within the supply chain organization. The Supply Chain Analyst is a key team member within Supply Chain Planning group of Highline Warren.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead small to medium scale projects as assigned to improve planning, forecasting, data quality and/or drive business process improvements.
  • Works cross functionally to develop detailed business process and requirements documents and articulate/ coordinate with IT teams to build solutions.
  • Build and publish weekly/monthly key performance indicators (KPIs) and other metrics to monitor the performance of the supply chain.
  • Gain understanding of user challenges and provide long term innovative solutions to resolve these challenges.
  • Lead and plan Internal warehouse items planning, inventory transfer and order fill processes.
  • Communicate complex concepts, data-driven insights, and proposed business solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders,
  • Maintain and develop standard business process and SOPs.
  • Actively participate in the planning, data and operations related supply chain projects as assigned.
  • Provide day–to-day support to the business user community, primarily planning group with data maintenance, data analysis and ad-hoc data reports.

Skills And Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Information Technology related field required.
  • Master’s degree in supply chain or any other related field is preferred.
  • Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in Supply chain planning, buyer experience is required.
  • Minimum 1 to 2 years of experience working with IT to develop technical solutions for business process or supply chain role required.
  • Experience in AS400/ Sage/ Qlik/ Blue Ridge planning software highly preferred.
  • Good understanding of supply chain planning process and concept (demand planning, forecasting, S&OP/IBP).
  • Advanced Excel, Access and SQL and Power BI skills is required.
  • Knowledge of Qlik and or other reporting tools is preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills required.
  • System implementation experience is preferred.
  • Must have strong comprehensive knowledge of business systems and demand and forecasting planning process.
