Highline Warren is currently seeking a dedicated and organized Clerical Inventory and Wave Coordinator to join our operations team. This dual-role position combines clerical responsibilities related to inventory management with the coordination of wave operations. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient inventory tracking and assist in managing workflow during peak operational hours.
This is a closing shift position with a start time of 11:15 AM. until 8:00 PM.
Responsibilities:
1. Plan and organize waves for inventory movement based on operational needs.
2. Coordinate with warehouse team to prioritize and execute inventory moves according to schedule.
3. Maintain accurate records of inventory movements and update systems accordingly.
4. Collaborate with supervisors to ensure timely completion of tasks and smooth workflow.
5. Identify discrepancies or issues in inventory movement and address them promptly.
6. Assist in training new team members on wave planning procedures and inventory processes.
Qualifications:
1. High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in logistics is perferred.
2. Proven experience in a warehouse or distribution center setting, preferably in inventory management or coordination roles.
3. Proficiency in using inventory management systems and software(Microsoft Teams, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and OneDrive).
4. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively.
5. Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with different stakeholders.
6. Attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory data and records.
7. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- The role may require standing for extended periods and occasional lifting of heavy items.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends, as needed.
