Graphic Design Specialist

Highline Warren, a leading national manufacturer and distributor of consumable and maintenance products for the automotive aftermarket, is seeking a talented Graphic Design Specialist to join our dynamic marketing team.

The Opportunity:

The role of Graphic Design Specialist offers a unique opportunity to design a variety of print and digital assets including product packaging to be seen online, in shops, and in retail stores across the country.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design a diverse range of creative assets from concept to completion, including:
    • Packaging and labels (private label, manufactured, and proprietary)
    • Sales materials (sell sheets, flyers, email marketing, e-commerce content, presentations)
    • Collateral for trade shows, events, and sales meetings
    • Marketing campaign assets including display ads, landing pages, social media, email and digital
  • Effectively manage, prioritize, organize, and meet deadlines for multiple projects with overlapping due dates.
  • Meticulously maintain brand standards for assigned brands.
  • Collaborate with a growing team of designers responsible for delivering compelling design solutions.
  • Work cross functionally to help determine scopes and deliverables of assigned projects.
  • Contribute to maintaining the digital asset management (DAM) system.

Minimum Experience and Education:

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in design, graphic design, marketing, or a related creative field.
  • A minimum of 4 years of relevant design experience.

Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of design principles and a solid foundation in business fundamentals.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud programs -- InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop -- in a Mac environment.
  • Experience managing projects from conception to completion.
  • Resourceful problem-solving skills to handle challenges effectively.
  • Experience with designing packaging and rendering images is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to present information clearly and accurately to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience with DAM and Project management software is preferred.
  • Ability to cultivate and maintain open, collaborative working relationships with supervisors and colleagues.
  • A continuous learner with a proactive approach to process improvement and efficiency optimization.
  • Experience collaborating with agencies or external partners on design projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of working with print vendors, including file preparation, scheduling, and other aspects that ensure cost-effective, high-quality deliverables.
  • Commitment to upholding established company values, practices, policies, and procedures.
