Brand Manager

Department: Integrated Brand Marketing
Location: Memphis, TN

We are the leading national manufacturer and distributor of consumable and maintenance products for the automotive aftermarket. The company was formed through the strategic combination of Highline Aftermarket and Warren Distribution in 2020. With 20 manufacturing and distribution locations and nearly 1,800 employees, Highline Warren carries over 26,000 products for its more than 14,000 customers across North America.

We are looking for an experienced Brand Manager to join our growing marketing organization. This person will lead the charge in driving the business planning and marketing execution for our licensed brand portfolio. The ideal candidate is excited by a fast-paced, growth focused environment and is interested in bringing their unique capabilities to make a real contribution in taking our marketing efforts to the next level.

KEY RESPONSIBILTIES

  • Build solid annual operating and long-term strategic brand plans to drive business growth, winning with customers and end consumers.
  • Develop and deploy brand marketing plans across traditional media, digital, and retail channels.
  • Set stretch goals and consistently deliver marketing and business objectives.
  • Own licensed brand P&Ls, understanding all levers and proactively identifying opportunities to strengthen brand financials.
  • Advance licensed brand portfolio via new products, categories, and customers.
  • Partner closely with cross-functional team members (sales, category management, marketing, and operations) to drive go-to-market strategy, brand growth initiatives, and product launches.
  • Develop selling stories and marketing materials that translate our licensed brand portfolio and enable customer teams to sell effectively.
  • Serve as main point of contact for licensing partner marketing, building key relationships and managing licensing agreement.
  • Analyze competitive landscape and market trends to drive fact-based decisions, identify opportunities and anticipate challenges.
  • Represent the organization as licensed brand ambassador and customer facing lead to amplify organizational capabilities.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure integrated brand messaging and execution of brand plans.
  • Stay informed about industry and category trends, applying knowledge to brand strategies.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

An individual qualified for this job must be able to:

  • Experience with brand development and strategic planning.
  • Proven analytical, decision-making, and influence skills.
  • Understanding of P&L drivers.
  • Strong leadership and drive for results.
  • Solid project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Ability to analyze data, draw insights and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, AND CERTIFICATIONS

An individual qualified for this job must have and maintain the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in brand/product management, or a related role.
  • Experience in the Automotive Aftermarket industry marketing is a plus.
  • Familiarity with licensing partnerships.
