SUMMARY
The Product Compliance Regulatory Associate is responsible for supporting product commercialization of re-distributed goods in a manner to ensure compliance with applicable regulations, customer requirements, and standard operating procedures. The individual in this position is also responsible for supplier data gathering activities, trade compliance, hazardous materials shipping, and hazard communication processes.

- Ensures the company’s product sourcing, storage and shipping activities comply with government regulations.
- Gathers vendor regulatory data for re-distributed goods to ensure alignment with the company’s regulatory data gathering requirements.
- Assist with chemical classification to validate data we receive from suppliers and other third parties is adequate.
- Maintains data within chemical management software system.
- Onboards new re-distributed products and uploads validated Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for re-distributed and sourced proprietary branded products following Globally Harmonized System (GHS) of Classification and Labeling of Chemicals Standard.
- Prepares Certificates of Origin for manufactured and re-distributed products.
- Validates and audits trade compliance documentation such as tariff classifications, country of origin certificates, hazmat shipping classifications, and sales restrictions.
- Updates SDSs received from vendors and other third parties following GHS of Classification and Labeling of Chemicals Standard and customer requirements (e.g., WERCs registrations).
- Identify and contribute to continuous improvement efforts to reduce costs or increase productivity without reducing effectiveness.
- Maintain an open and candid working relationship with immediate supervisor/manager in discussing matters of importance.
- Adhere to established company values, practices, policies and procedures at all times. Follow and support compliance with all applicable safety rules, laws, regulations, and standards.
- Demonstrates regular and punctual attendance at the assigned work location during normal business hours.

Experience, Education, and Certifications
- Bachelors’ degree or 2 years employment experience in product compliance, regulatory affairs, or quality systems, or an equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrates the knowledge skills and abilities required.
- Familiarity with state and federal regulatory frameworks.
- Experience with Hazard Communication, GHS and SDS authoring is preferred.
