• Define visual identity strategies that shape the creative expression of our corporate, proprietary, private label, and manufactured brands
• Drive thought leadership in design, identifying industry trends, assessing customer, consumer, and competitive insights, and clarifying implications for our brands’ visual expression
• Lead and inspire a high performing team of designers and content specialists to develop impactful creative across packaging, sales enablement, events, marketing campaigns and our customers’ digital experience
• Develop execution plans for large cross-functional projects that include detailed task plans, dependencies, milestones, and timing
• Proactively prioritize projects, utilize resources, and set and achieve deadlines to maximize impact to total business
• Drive cross-functional collaboration to ensure content and creative initiatives are aligned with overall business objectives
• Review, evaluate and guide design development, pushing to inspire creative that addresses business challenges and communication objectives
• Leverage talents of art direction, graphic design, motion design, copywriting, and content studio teams toward achieving common goals
• Ensure all content and creative assets adhere to brand guidelines and maintain consistent identity and messaging
• Effectively manage and maximize agency relationships
• Investigate and assess emerging creative technologies and their potential application to optimize the design and production process
• Manage budgets effectively, allocate resources appropriately, track expenditures and maximize ROI
• Act as a thought leader by continuously identifying areas of opportunity in the business by way of creative problem solving and brand alignment

• Bachelor's degree in related field
• Proven experience (7+ years) in creative services, or a related role with direct responsibility for managing a team
• Experience in the Automotive Aftermarket industry is a plus
